Interactive Design
THEME : Crispy Crave Pizza App
USER STORY : Customer search and order different categories of pizza with a preferred delivery location/ pick-up.
BACKGROUND : Honey is a professional chef looking to expand her client base and move her ordering away from telecommerce. On her app, customers will be able to browse her pizza menu, customize pizza (Size, Base, Cheese, Sauce, Toppings), Add-ons (Dips, Coldrinks), and submit orders. Customer will also choose their pick-up time or delivery option. After their purchase, the customer will receive a confirmation email with their order details, order amount, as well as their confirmed delivery or pick-up time.
BRAINSTORMING PROCESS : It has been shown that those with busy schedules have less time to prepare meals and prefer to eat in food courts or order food online. People of all ages enjoy pizza over other cuisines, as I discovered while exploring several culinary genres. Following this investigation, I decided to create a pizza app. By using this application, users may place online pizza orders, saving time and satisfying their cravings.
GOAL : The goal was to create a Mobile Application High-Fidelity Prototype using Adobe XD covered in MDIA 2330–UI/UX/XD. The main purpose of Mobile Application High-Fidelity Prototype project is to show case student’s understanding of how to use the Adobe XD effectively.
BRANDING : I made the decision to come up with a brand name for the pizza app before designing the logo. I looked through numerous brand names, but I settled on “Crispy Craving” because it is so distinctive and showcases the essence of the application. I concentrated on making sure the name related to the business so that people could quickly identify it.
LO-FIDELITY WIREFRAMES : A drafts iteration of each screen of the app was created on paper. To make sure that the elements that made it to digital wireframes would be well-suited to satisfy user and easy understanding .Generally, the design flow concentrated on the simple and time-saving.
HIGH-FIDELITY WIREFRAMES : I generated high-fidelity wireframes by implementing defined styles. It also enables me to assess the application’s better visual feelings and aesthetic consistency
