THEME : GroupIn(Professional Meeting Events)
USER STORY : Candidates can make a professional connection and receive guidance for in-person meetings. Members’ information, Create a profile and search for events.
BACKGROUND : Mac, a recent immigrant to Canada, is trying to find the ideal mechanical engineering position. He aims to network within his sector. He wants to connect, get to know, and attend events with people in his field. He doesn’t know the process of an information interview in Canada, so any guidance would be very helpful.
GOAL : The goal was to create a Mobile Application High-Fidelity Prototype using Adobe XD covered in MDIA 2330–UI/UX/XD. The main purpose of Mobile Application High-Fidelity Prototype project is to show case student’s understanding of how to use the Adobe XD effectively.
USER FLOW : Created the User Flow to understand the requirement of specific user(target audience).
BRANDING : I made the decision to come up with a brand name for the GroupIn website before designing the logo. I looked through numerous brand names, but I settled on “GroupIn” because it is so distinctive and showcases the essence of the website. I concentrated on making sure the name related to the organization so that people could quickly identify it.
LOGO DESIGN : In order to further establish the brand identity, I developed logo concepts. I first started coming up with descriptors that matched the already established brand attributes, and I sketched as many potential logos as I could. I completed the logo. This logo uses the brand name and shows text with a connection icon that symbolizes a link or connection. Users can quickly grasp the website’s purpose by looking at the logo when they visit. I utilized the pattern to improve its visual appeal and the border to show that an event is happening in a group.
HIGH-FIDELITY WIREFRAMES : The main purpose of website high-fidelity prototype project is to show case student’s understanding of how to use the Adobe XD effectively. I generated high-fidelity wireframes by implementing defined styles. It also enables me to assess the website’s better visual feelings and aesthetic consistency.
CONCLUSION : The high-fidelity website for a social professional meet platform is an effective way to showcase the key features and functionalities of the platform in a realistic and interactive manner. Users can easily visualize the website’s layout and get a sense of how it will work in practice.
