Interactive Design

CONTEXT : LOVE THE DRIVE, This website sells convertible wind deflectors for several car brands and models. They offer installation videos and the Wind deflector is designed to be simple to install. They offer a variety of services, including warranty and free delivery (where applicable). Consumers have the option of entering the drawing to win the convertible cleaning kit. Customers from all over the world can buy products online using this website.

 

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY OF UX PROCESS :

RESEARCH/ANALYSIS : My analysis and assessment of the website indicate that it needs improvement in terms of its overall structure, usability, and flow. I made an effort to develop a persona to test the needs and expectations of the user. I made the journey map to identify the stages and touchpoints, the user’s thoughts and feelings (including opportunities and the future state). If necessary, I alter the content and layout of the home page and other pages based on the personas and journey map. To improve the design of this website, I made comparisons between it and other websites of a similar standard.

DESIGN LO-FIDELITY : To improve the design and finalized the design from other website design templates. I mainly tried to create/change the layout of the global menu, footer, layouts of the Home page, Product page, Product information detail page, contact page, Payment, and Benefits.

PROTOTYPE HI-FIDELITY : I tried to develop the design into high fidelity to identify the website flow and to review the look and feel of the design after generating the low-fidelity and designing the layout of the website structure. I used the appropriate font, attempted to keep the color basic, and concentrated more on the business and user(persona base) purpose.

TEST/EVALUATE : I tested the mock-ups with my peers and solicited their input after using the invision (tool) to construct them. Next, based on the persona and user journey map, I made the necessary changes.

 

PERSONA : A fictional character designed to reflect a user type that might utilize a website, brand, or product in a similar manner is known as a persona in user-centered design and marketing. Marketers could combine personas with market segmentation, with qualitative personas being created to represent particular segments. Persona Indicate the user requirements, experience, and expectations before or during visiting the website.
